RESOURCES
This section offers a number of different resources that parents, teachers and children will find useful.
We are often asked if we can recommend reading material for parents, teachers or gifted students. Rose Blackett, an RTLB based in Christchurch has compiled a list (in MS-Excel format) you may find helpful. Rose has special interest in gifted children, twice exceptional children, and underachievers, works in schools in Christchurch, assesses for the Gifted Education Centre (One Day School) and is the current National President of NZAGC. We hope you find this list a useful place to start.
The Articles and Publications section includes downloadable versions of articles about gifted learners - as well as information on books - published by Gifted Education Centre staff.
The Useful Links section includes a list of links to information-rich websites of organisations and people associated with gifted education in New Zealand and worldwide.
The Fun Stuff section includes links to online educational games and activities for children.
Check out our website for more information about the services we provide.
