This job was either too small for a cabinetmaker or too big for a commercial hardware store. Cutshop solves this dilemma. We cut, edge, drill and deliver sheet material to the DIY market, cabinetmakers and commercial shop fitters.

Expanding the nation's workshop

The name says it all. Cutting to size and shape all manner of materials including solid wood, wood composites, acrylics, aluminium and polystyrene is the core business of Cutshop. This is done by a state-of-the-art robotic Thermwood CNC (computer numerically controlled) router. Edge-banding, drilling and hardware are complementary to the cutting service.

We have the DIY customer happily walking away with a simple shelf cut to size while equally, we have industry markets responding positively to our using encrypted software compatible with theirs. Between these two bookends, customers have the satisfaction of rapid service, flat-pack delivery, unparalleled precision, cost efficiencies and shop floor staff trained to understand and embrace customer service.

Make the cut

Our factory has a CNC and a table saw and can cut most sheet materials from aluminium right through to perspex. We can even cut existing panels that you want trimmed. We will cut straight, circles or complex designs.

We can edge most panels - with PVC or ABS, even solid timber. You can choose the finish square or radius corners. We also drill anything from 1.5 to 1,200 mm diamater holes right through or to any depth you require.

Finally, we deliver in Auckland and surrounding areas for your convenience.
