Totally love Tasca! Dominion Rd is just gorgeous - especially if you dine out in the back courtyard, where you can easily believe you are sitting out in a courtyard in Spain, Greece or Turkey - amongst the olive trees, sipping on a Sangria, noshing on any one of the array of tapas delights!! It is fabulous for any occasion - groups, couples, day or evening. Really worthwhile trying out.

Went here for a Valentine's day dinner. We have been to Tasca before both in the city and New Market and as we had left it late to make a booking we were stuck with this one on dominion road. This night was a disaster! We were seated and then not approached ONE for ten full minutes despite our obvious attempts to get attention. No water was served. When I complained to the waitress, our food was brought out less than 5 minutes later (to make up for ignoring us) My partner's meal was wonderful but mine was severely overcooked. The mussels were CRUNCHY and hard. Customer service seriously bad. WILL NOT RETURN.

I went for Lunch with my Mother and had tappa's, the variety was a choice of 2 for $15 each which comes with bread too... there was plenty to choose from.
We both picked a selection of 4 different tappa's. And also tried a lemon drink which the waiter highly recommended.
The service was very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the squid was soo good!!!
Will definately being go back again..
2 very happy customers :)

After having passed by a number of times, we finally made the decision to venture inside. Why did we wait so long.
The food (yum) and service put a lot of other places to shame. Very relaxing and nothing is too much bother. As for the garden out the back, it is hard to believe you are on Dominion Road.

We walked by this place and decided to check it out. The food was great and bonus durring the week they are a byo. Needless to say 2 bottles of wine later we were a little worse for wear. The service and personality of the resturant was so relaxed it was a pleasure to dine there. Great location from there we went on to Ginger Minx the bar next to the Dominion up the road.
