Owen Delany Park is Taupo's largest multi purpose sports ground and currently caters for rugby, cricket, netball, archery, athletics, cycling, orienteering and dog obedience.
The main floodlit field has a capacity for 35,000 spectators including a grandstand with 950 covered seats and 800 uncovered seats. Add to this two corporate lounges, media facilities, ample parking, area for food and beverage sales and five additional practice fields.
Winter sees Owen Delany Park as the home to Taupo and King Country Rugby, while in the summer season the fields are home to Taupo Cricket, with six artificial wickets.
A 400 metre athletic track is also available alongside the main field.
Eight standard sized netball courts with accompanying pavilion are also located within Owen Delany Park.
