My family and I spent the night in this Tavern in July 09.

I am a Welshman now living in the Hokianga and I had my mother and her husband as well as my young nephew with me. My family were on holiday in NZ for the first time.

The hospitality of this Tavern can not be faulted. The locals were some of the most welcoming folk I have met in New Zealand, in fact I can not think of any friendlier. The beer was good as was the bar snack.

My family have returned to Wales with huge and fond memories of this establishment and the friendliness of the staff and regulars.
