We all offer a free fitting service with every car seat sold, and are happy to fit seats from other stores as well.
Baby On The Move is a nationwide franchise company owned and operated by experienced Mums and in some cases Dads as well. We run our businesses from our homes or from retail outlets in some centres. We specialise in providing parents-to-be with a relaxed environment in which to make informed decisions about some of the most important baby equipment they may purchase or hire for their new baby. For those who have visitors arriving, we offer a complete service with highchairs, car seats, cots (both portable and wooden), buggies, safety stair gates etc, and in some areas, baskets of toys to ensure you are able to provide your little visitor with the most essential items for a relaxing & enjoyable safe stay.
Every Baby on the Move branch are qualified Child Restraint Technicians (formally Safe2Go) and have passed both theory and practical assessments to receive NZQA credits,and are experienced in installing capsules, toddler seats and booster seats to safely meet all your travel needs. We provide a FREE FITTING service so you can be confident that your capsule or toddler seat is correctly fitted into your vehicle.
All baby equipment used as rentals or for sale meets the New Zealand and Australian Safety Standard and a wide range of items also meet the European Safety Standard (EC44). Knowing that your baby or toddler is safely and securely travelling in your vehicle is very reassuring and makes family travels so much more relaxing. As parents ourselves, we are able to offer strategies that can help make travelling enjoyable for everyone and are able to source a range of additional items that can ease those "Are we there yet?" moments.
