Leighton House is a 56 bed fully licenced Rest Home with Fire, Safety and Health standards exceeding the strigent requirements of the Fire and Health Departments. It is on the banks of the Waimata river and set among extensive grounds. Following recent extensive upgrading and extensions we now have three lounges with most rooms having single beds and ensuites. Our two Registered Nurses and Caring staff provide personalised 24 hour care. Activities are provided both in the morningsd and afternoons five days a week. We encourage visitors to come at any time.
