General Information: The Waiheke Week is a full colour tabloid publication reflecting the spirit of Waiheke-bright, colourful, casual and diverse. The Waiheke Week targets the growing demographic of professionals making a "lifestyle" choice to live and work from the Island, or to use it as a holiday base.

The feel of the newspaper is more sophisticated than the standard weekly giveaway.

Features include a weekly a dining guide which includes a recipe, a fortnightly gardening column and a fortnightly wine column with our local wine personality, John Hawkesby.

We also have a section for real estate and a very popular gossip column, Surfdale Sally.

One if the most sought after parts of the paper is "Scene on Waiheke" which features pictures of people at events - a feature now being emulated in publications such as the NZ Herald.

The feel of the paper is more sophisticated than the standard weekly giveaway. The design reflects the publication's week long shelf-life which means the paper is used as a referral document as well as a good read. The paper has a slightly "magazine" feel.

The only Waiheke newspaper that is distributed to Auckland City New World Ponsonby and Foodtown Quay Street.
