Many of our products are oiled with natural vegetable oil (as pictured) to help preserve and protect the wood and therefore the longevity of the product. Toys can be easily cleaned with warm water and oil reapplied if desired. If you would prefer a toy that is pictured oiled to be raw so that you can paint it please let us know via your order and we will ensure that your toy is NOT oiled. Alternatively we can oil any item you see pictured un-oiled if this is your choice.
