Bark Avenue located in Waitakere with more than 3000sq metres area is an indoor and outdoor boarding kennel and cattery. Boarding kennel, cattery and grooming service. We also offer a day care and puppy social training services.

Dog Boarding - Bark Ave boarding facilities differ from 'traditional' pet boarding establishments. No longer are your pets housed in a cold, concrete or plywood kennel with a run to exercise in - our guests are housed indoors, sleeping in custom made units, individual bedding and the ability to play with other dogs - with human supervision.

Doggy Daycare Facilities

Our units are located inside our building, our guests are free to play the day away while you are enjoying your holidays.

With their own dedicated areas, for small, medium and large dogs allowing them to play with other like-minded guests.

Our units are premium designs, complied with the standard recommendations, are custom and purpose built with tempered glass doors, allowing guests a clear veiw of the happenings in the room. We provide rosella beds and bedding to elevate your pet off the ground for a good nights rest.

Our Facility also provide fully monitored with CCTV and alarmed to ensure your pets safety.

Requirements to be part of Doggy Daycare

A minimal Age of 4 months applied. All dogs will need to have current vaccination and flea treatment in order to join the group.

This is to ensure every dog is in top health condition. To become part of the team, dogs will need to pass a simple temperament test with our experienced staff.

Solo play is available to dogs that are unable to participate in group day care. This may include pregnant females, females in heat, dogs with tendency to fight, etc.

Cat Boarding or Cat Daycare Facilities

Kitty City as it is nicknamed - is our purpose built, custom made cattery. With individual units for sleeping. Modern cat climbers are there for the most gymnastic cats, for the laidback ones there is also a live fish tank for them to spend their time on.

Dog Grooming & Cat Grooming

we have on site professional and experienced groomers to maintain your pet in top appearances.

Services ranging from simple nail-clipping, de-matting, wash & dry through to personalize styling.

Dog Food

We feed all our dogs & cats the premium Royal Canin pet food.

BYO food are also more than welcomed to suit your dogs/cats needs.
