I have only been to this place for weddings but ever time it has been great the food as aways been amazing and i love there wine

The Winery Riverlands Restaurant
(previously known as Montana)

This stylish restaurant-cafe, located just a few minutes drive south of Blenheim, is the prefect place to relax over a glass of wine in an atmosphere enhanced by giant river-stone fireplaces; or you may choose to dine alfresco in the Winery Courtyard.

Open daily for Brunch and Lunch.
Delicious brunch is served from 10.00 am daily with à la carte lunch from 12noon – 4.00 pm. Open public holidays (except Christmas Day). We have no public holiday surcharge.

Celebrated chef Julie Robinson proudly selects the finest local Marlborough produce to create superb seasonal menus. Our food service is designed to complement the collection of Pernod Ricard wines produced at our winery and sourced from throughout the celebrated Marlborough region.

Families are welcome and the children can play in the safe confines of the fun-filled wine themed playground, complete with a corkscrew climber and slide.

Plenty of free parking for cars, coaches and campervans.

Considered the original heart and soul of Marlborough wine, this Pernod Ricard New Zealand winery, (formerly Montana) today remains responsible for producing the flagship varietal Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Weddings & Private Functions
The romantic architecture combined with the picturesque backdrop of the vineyards and hills, this is the perfect setting for a winery wedding. Here you have ceremony venue options in the outdoor Winery Courtyard Garden, or use the backdrop of the red-wine cuves in the Kaituna Barrel Hall.

waited and waited..and waited for service, although the restaurant had only three tables full,I finally had to approach staff, who were busy cleaning cutlery or talking on phone, for service. over an hour from sit down to arriveal of meal. Were not asked if we would like a drink at any stage so made do with water. food was ok but not so great as to make up for the abismal lack of service
