Tots on Triton is a modern state of the art purpose built childcare Centre which is privately owned and is operated by experienced and professional early childhood managers.
Situated on over 2,600 square metres of land, the Centre has 4 separate learning rooms which reflect the different age groups of the children. It has the latest equipment and resources to stimulate your child in a safe and nurturing environment. The older children are also able to enjoy an exciting outdoor nature adventure trail.
At Tots on Triton we invest heavily in our staff as we recognise that quality staff is our biggest asset. Our staff members have all demonstrated the qualities needed to earn a place at Tots on Triton. Staff attend ongoing professional development programmes to ensure that they remain leaders in their field and are able to provide the best possible care for your children. By being accepted for employment at Tots on Triton you can be assured that staff have a genuine love of children, are appropriately trained or qualified and have the experience and ability to ensure that your child receives the best care, attention and education possible.
A healthy morning and afternoon tea and a nutritious cooked lunch is provided to the older children. Our menu changes daily and has been planned by a registered dietician. We have established policies and procedures to manage children with allergies. Tots on Triton has a peanut free policy.
Parent Evenings
Tots on Triton hosts parent evenings throughout the year where the teaching staff share information about children’s progress and development, and other current topics.
Newsletters
A regular newsletter/information sheet is given to all parents. Notice boards at the entrance to the Centre share information with parents.
Communication Notebooks
Communication notebooks are sent home daily with children under two. Parents are asked to write any notes in the book so that staff are aware of important matters. All children have a portfolio of their work and art, together with learning stories which have been written by staff. These are shared with parents, and of course the staff are always available to discuss your child’s progress with you on a daily basis.
