Mariposa Clothing is a colourful clothing company based in sunny Golden Bay, near Nelson. Many of our garments are designed and manufactured specifically for our 2 garment stores.
We hand select, personally source and directly import many other products and ranges that work in with and compliment the bold vibrant colourful streetwear that Mariposa has become so well known for.
Our first garment store opened in Takaka in September 2005 followed by Mariposa Nelson in September 2006. In late 2008 the gals of Mariposa realised we could not survive on funky frocks alone. We needed shoes and boots too! Therefore "Soul by Mariposa" was born. We have sourced an incredible range of unique, quality and comfortable footwear to compliment our clothing ranges. Featuring world renowned brands such as Keen, Merrell, Naot, El Naturalista, Timberland, Terrasoles, Crocs, Teva, Hi Tech, Wild Rhino, Kubo, Ground Hog, Neo, Havaianas, Skechers, Vans, Emu Sheep skin boots and oh so much more.
