31st January 2013 We went the day after boxing day for lunch and this restaurant was full.We were lucky to get a table, but very glad we did.
The staff were friendly & helpful and the menu was just a little bit different with tasting plates or full meals. We ordered a tasting plate of Squid, port bell, and mushroom risotto ball.
My husband orders a venison burger & fries. All the tasting plates were delicious and with a side order of fries it was more than enough for 3 people. Their own cider was lovely and we had a most enjoying lunch. Would visit again, maybe during the week when they weren't so busy.Although being busy didn't detract from the excellent service and atmosphere.
