Very good service, nothing like what is described below. Staff were very polite and very helpful. I didn't go there to eat, and if I did and was a vegetarian then I would have rang first and asked if they cater to such. Most places don't. It would have been much more civilized on your behalf 'selfrighteous BOY' to simply go somewhere else, or get that vege pizza from Dominoes. Your just peeved because they don't cater for vege heads. Whatever.

Anyway, I am not reviewing the restaurant, although I really enjoyed the yummy fries and the bun, thanks. Actually I went there for the wine and ale selection, and the entertainment. On all accounts, myself and 8 others had a very enjoyable evening, it was a great atmosphere, the entertainment was just superb, and I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone wanting to kick back and enjoy and great evening.

I went months ago and was disappointed with the staff and food but the environment was good. Last week I was invited to join friends there. Well, that was the worst dining experience ever. Food was average but the staff were shocking. A huddle of them at the reception counter, falling over each other and fooling around in preference to attending to clients. A friend later bought me a wine. I asked a waiter what it was and he rudely said "don't you like it?". But I did. He seemed to be expecting confrontation. I observed he was blunt with others nearby. He obviously was not enjoying his job. I didn't see any staff member acting professionally. They do better at McDonalds.

went in with 3 friends - 2 of us were vegetarian, 2 non-veg. Service was terrible. Waited and waited to be able to order, were directed to get up and get our own water, were told what the specials of the day were and changes to menu but when we ordered were told meals on the menu were not available as they were "reveiewing their menu". Only had Vegetarian Quiche as vege option and was told that pasta was the only other dish available to be made into vegetarian, Was a chicken fettuccine, ended up with a meal that appeared to be 10 pieces of fettuccine with a 1/4 of a cup of canned tomatoes, with a chopped 1/4 onion, with 2 black olives chopped up in it for flavour - no seasoning seemed evident. Had to get up to get salt and pepper from a nearby empty table.I would have felt this was a substandard meal even if I had ordered this at Dominos, but at least it would have been cheaper than the $17 i was charged despite this was the charge for a Chicken Fettuccine and i was told that mushrooms would feature as part of the meal to somewhat offset the chicken not being required. others ordered soups and chicken burgers that were also poor quality. we all wanted dessert and waiting for over 15 mins after our table was cleared for someone to bring over dessert menus. in the end we had to stand up and go ask for them. We all ordered different desserts which showed up promptly but when another staff member (who appeared more senior than our original young waitress) bought them out, he could tell the difference between the plum pudding and the sticky date pudding, despite the fact they looked very different and had different sauces. He had to return to the kitchen to find out which was which. In the end it hardly mattered as they both tasted more like Xmas puddings than what the menu described, and seemed to be served with cream from a can and a tastless vanilla ice cream and a bland "brandy" custard?? cost - $12!! This review may seem harsh but there is little to reccommend this restaurant - the best I can say is that the restaurant is appears very well decorated and they discounted the chicken burger without chicken by 50% - you'd think they would rather have the full price and actually produce something more edible than a bun with lettuce and tomato with mayo served with chips- another example of minimal effort to produce good meals for customers willing to pay well for something tasty - isnt't that the point of going out. I've only been there once but would never go again. If anyone goes despite this as they want to check if it was just a bad night or couldn't be as bad as I have written, then please do so and write a review yourself as I would be interested in your experience. Thanks.
