27th June 2011 A little tricky to find the first time but the second time it I felt like I was in the know. I took some friends from Queenstown here, they were blown away by the style an vibe. We had tapas in the bar than some of the more exotic plates in the restaurant. A very funky jazz band started to play as we finished up in the restaurant so we didn't need to go anywhere else. Good service, and it was warm, intimate and cosy for us elegantly dressed ladies. impressive.
Havana Bar can be found on Wellington's Wigan street, simply make your way through the door of the historic cottages and enter this Spanish inspired haven.
This cocktail bar and restaurant serves authentically Cuban dishes, and a delicious selection of Tapas daily.
2nd February 2013 LOVE this bar! Great tapas and drinks, fun live music and a great crowd. Has fun ambiance and fun outdoor seating. The sangria is great to share in a group and I don't think there is one bad thing on the menu for food. A great place to go with friends, on a date or for a work happy hour.
