I was referred to Balance Massage, and Ada, in early 2007.
I have used massage as a means of pro-actively managing migraines for about 10 or 15 years, and have also benefitted immensely from a faster recovery from sporting injuries (generally back), by receiving monthly massages. My experience of therapists covers South Africa, England and New Zealand, and I was with another therapist prior to Balance.
I have found Ada’s knowledge of injuries and recommendations of possible treatments extremely interesting and her manner very comforting. I recently experienced a lumbar injury and was talked into trying acupuncture as part of my treatment. Ada’s experience was re-assuring and I found her delivery of the treatment, skilful and extremely competent. I felt relief from the pain within 24 hours, and the combination of the massage and acupuncture has most definitely had a tangible result on my recovery. I have also been really impressed with the level of customer service, whereby appointments have been made for after work hours or even on bank holidays to accommodate my schedule.
