27th August 2010 Hi I went to Elliot Stables with my wife to celebrate our 6 month wedding aniversary and we had a lovely meal from two different restaurants but the dessert from el faro was amazing!
I had churros in Melbourne at an authentic spanish cafe and I've never tasted anything that matched this....until el faro. I think the reason is the other places I've tried like Didas and Bellota use egg in the batter mixture which is not the real deal. Also the chocolate was rich, dark and generous at el faro. I spoke to the owner and personally congratulated him on making one of my all time favourite desserts. I know where to go now and for my Spanish hit. One thing also about Elliot Stables is that your are spoilt for choice - what a great concept.

Wax my first experience with tapas and I think we were spoilt
The pot of mussels were fantastic
We had a table of 6 so ordered 1 if each of the 14 tapas on the menu
Fantastic all of it and the sangria is a must

22nd March 2011 Great tapas. Cool atmosphere and can have it in the restaurant or just outside. Both areas have different atmospheres. I recommended booking ahead as it was pretty busy when i was there. I will be back there.

15th July 2010 El Taro is small and intimate with great service and an eclectic tapas menus. The food is great and you can't miss a jug of their authentic sangria! Highly recommended.

2nd March 2010 We had a business lunch at El Faro, where they managed to personalise the service by explaining their special boards and at the same time gave us the privacy we needed for the business lunch.
