Hi, my name is Gavin Hoggard and I have established Alpha Business Coaching to pass on my business knowledge and experience to business owners who are keen to develop their business.
I have two science degrees, one in Paramedical and one in animal science. I have a diploma through the Entrepreneurs Success Programme (ESP) and thirty four years of experience in business and management.
In 1995 along with three other directors I set up a privately owned Veterinary Laboratory in competition to the government laboratory network. We began with 13 staff, zero income and zero clients.
Over the next six years we grew to 65 staff with a six million dollar revenue and 55% of the New Zealand veterinary diagnostic market. We went on to establish an additional successful food microbiology laboratory, a plant laboratory, an import and distribution division, and a research and development division.
The four directors each had different roles in the business. One Senior Scientist, two Veterinary Pathologists and my role was Managing Director.
In 2003 we sold the business to a publicly listed company.
I am now in the envious position of being able to choose my clients and to continue my passionate interest in the exciting world of business management, development and growth by helping other business owners to achieve their desired business outcomes.
I do this by the unique combination of my business knowledge and experience along with the Results In Business Institute’s expertly developed, tried and true coaching systems and products.
