I have been in clinical practice for the past ten years as a counsellor/therapist and work in Psychoanalytic Supervision. I am a member NZAC, in process of membership with NZAP and have full indemnity insurance cover.
My training began in London in 1979 and continued in the United States from 1990 through 1994. I received a Bachelor's degree in Auckland in 1999. I have been accepted into the part time post graduate/masters in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at AUT which will begin in March 2009.
Although my overall framework is experiential psychoanalytic psychotherapeutic, I will use Solution Focused, narrative or CBT approaches depending upon presenting issues.
