Global Diamonds is a New Zealand owned company formed in 2007. The mission behind Global Diamonds is to make your diamond purchasing experience enjoyable, educational, and best of all, affordable.
We began this endeavor with countless hours of research, including interviews with those who have made diamond purchases and those who were currently shopping. We then noticed a common theme developing. Nearly all of them felt that local jewellery stores were marking their diamond prices up far too high and that the few online sellers were either not NZ companies, or still did not meet their price and quality expectations.
We decided...it's time for New Zealand to have a place to buy high quality diamonds and settings at a price that's fair, affordable and a straight forward process!
We source all of our diamonds through the International wholesale market and take the utmost care to ensure our diamonds are conflict free. Our inhouse purchasers have over 30 years experience and understand the supply process to ensure we get the absolute best pricing.
Every loose diamond valued at over $1000 is guaranteed certified by one of the most respected independent diamond grading labs, including Gemlab, GIA and EGL. The New Zealand Jewellery industry puts a lot of time and effort into ensuring the local diamond grading industry are skilled and up to date with grading processes.
