I primarily build steel string acoustic guitars using the timbers indigenous to New Zealand such as Kauri,40,000 year old Ancient Kauri, and Rimu. After many years experimenting I have perfected their use for instrument making. Tonally my guitars are very rich, full and beautifully balanced with incredible sustain. I use Paua to inlay my instruments in the form of traditional Maori Kowhaiwhai designs.
