Glenn Bisdee is self-taught photographer with 15 years of travel and informal shooting behind him. More 'formal' photographic training by Metallica's photographer Jason Reposar in Los Angeles, Hawaii and Australia gave Bisdee the inside knowledge of more specialized studio advertising photography. I pull this knowledge into your wedding day to create photos that are not going to date.
Based in Nelson, New Zealand, Bisdee and his wife Thalassa put there combined photographic skills together to create an awesome photo record of your wedding day. Nelson is now home but 'Having travelled over 40 countries and many an ocean I'm very used to waking up in strange locations.'

After finishing a marketing Degree at Massey University, New Zealand he worked on sets in Los Angeles for numerous movies and t.v. programs, fished in Alaska, built penthouses in Parklane, sold a bit of jewellery to Harrods London, travelled to timbucktoo and back before returning to his homeland, Aoteroa, to pursue his passion of photography.
During the very busy Nelson and Blenheim wedding season Bisdee uses his experience in fashion photography to bring a uniqueness to peoples wedding photos. "Fashion weddings" as Bisdee has coined them involves the bride and groom becoming supermodels for the day.

Wedding Day
27th November 2010
Well it was the morning of the 27th November 2010 and as arranged for Glenn Bisdee to meet us girls at 9am at Rustix Hair Salon in Stoke, Nelson sure enough he was on time, ready and waiting to go... snapping away capturing the very beginning of the day (messy funky chicken hair and no make-up on lol...) This is where the story of our day begins... Then after snapping some rather naked faces and our Hair-Up Shots, Glenn then headed off to snap some shots of the guys chilling out at our home playing a bit of Wii and having a quiet one... The next location for Glenn was back to us girls getting ready at a friends house where Glenn snapped the make-up and getting into our dresses. Then it was time for Glenn to disappear out to the Gardens of the World to meet up with his wife who was the other photographer and to capture the guys arriving ready for the Ceremony and then to capture us girls arriving... The nerves had well and truly set in now... Stomach in knots and my heart was racing... Glenn with his camera, setting up the parasols and bouquets and standing ready waiting for the music to start to walk down a isle full of white rose petals... Glenn and Thalassa got the lot! From all angles and all those extra special moments! Then after we finished snapping up some amazing memorable shots at Gardens of the World, we then headed out to Wakefield to the most amazing old run-down house where we all put on our sunnies and my two Bridesmaids and I threw on some gumboots to capture some unique, hilarious, original, and some serious, memories that we will never forget. Glenn used studio photographic gear outside to create fashionable, movie like Photos! ,something we had never seen done before. Then we set off to our final destination, Seifried Estate for our Reception and Glenn and Thalassa were ready and waiting, one step ahead of us and in time to capture the Grand Entrance, Cake Cutting and Bridal Table, Food and general Guest Shots of our Family and Friends! To sum this short review up on Glenn Bisdee Photography, What awesome Photographer's! We found Glenn Technically skilled, Original, Unique, Fashionable, One man who really loves pushing the Boundaries and so much Fun! No Regrets! Thank you Glenn and Thalassa for an unforgettable Wedding Day and Thank you for the Memories!
