30 Totara Avenue, Pakawau - Collingwood, Golden Bay, Tasman
Nick's Cabin is mountain cabin accommodation high up on Mt. Campbell, Motueka.
For a holiday very much away from it all, escape to a snug mountain cabin set in a privately owned landscape of New Zealand native bush on the slopes of Mt. Campbell, near Motueka.
Here you can spend hours just drinking in the magnificent views to the sea. Or you can feast on the sights and sounds of nature, by exploring the many bush walking tracks. There are walking tracks from the cabin and you can tramp to the summit of Mt. Campbell for the best views.
The two bedroom cabin sleeps up to seven people, has hot water, a log burner, full cooking facilities, a bath and shower, solar-powered lights and cellphone coverage.
Bedding, linen and bath towels are provided, just bring your food and wine.
The cabin is remote and well away from public roads. Transport to and from the cabin is by 4-wheel-drive vehicle and is included in the tariff. The journey takes approximately an hour from your pickup point in Motueka.
Here on this 1,330 metre peak, surrounded by bush and mountains you feel you can touch the sky. It's a place that lifts the spirit, invigorates the mind and refreshes the soul.
From the outside bath you can see forever, over the rolling hills of Motueka, the sparkling expanse of Tasman Bay to the lights of Nelson. The bath is reason enough to come for the weekend. There is an indoor bath and shower for the bashful.
There is no one else here, you have the place to yourself, so the claims of privacy & seclusion are very well justified. In fact our mountain cabin is probably the most private and secluded holiday accommodation you will find here at the top of New Zealand's South Island.
There are walking tracks from the cabin and you can tramp to the summit of Mt. Campbell for the best views.
