The Cottage is self contained has a double bedroom with ensuite shower /toilet. A fully equipped kitchen, dining room/lounge a couple, with two children, (Baby gear is available if required). There is an independent bunkroom for any teenagers!
Children's facilities include a play area, trampoline. Children's bikes, Kayaks and mini-yachts on Weka pond. A mini soccer table and Pool table.
Nearby Geraldine village has a cinema, cafe's and restaurants, vintage machinery museum, chocolate and cheese making, jams, sauces, crafts and gift shops.
Outdoor pursuits include Rafting,golf,Trout or Salmon fishing. In winter (May-Sept) eight ski fields are within an hours drive (including Mount Hutt, Roundhill and Mount Dobson).Tekapo Ice skating,thermal pools less than an hours drive.
In 40 minutes to be at the seaside at Caroline Bay,Timaru. Aoraki/Mount Cook and Lake's Tekapo, Pukaki are popular day trips.
There may be opportunities to help out on the farm, Dave and Nikki are friendly/helpful hosts. Their tariffs even include tea/coffee/milk and a complimentary continental breakfast.
