You are welcome in our friendly country tavern, with great bar food, espresso coffee, pool table, darts, gaming room, a great backyard garden bar, and a front veranda, or relax in the greenery at the picnic table in front of the Backpackers. Plenty of outside areas for smokers to relax with their beer or food.
The tavern has a real country atmosphere, very friendly staff, and plenty of character. We are world famous for our hamburgers, and our meals.
We are a small pub that does big things! We are the home base for the Whitianga Pig Hunters Club. The Coroglen Speed Shearing competition is held here. And on long weekends, and the Christmas - New Year period, we are the venue for performances by New Zealand's major bands.
