Decided late on Saturday to take a break, left home in Remuera at 4.06pm, 5.00pm ferry and we were there by 6.00pm. Stayed for the weekend, what an awesome place, the hosts Nat and Jed were fantastic, friendly and accommodating.

Relaxed environment, what a view of paradise, plenty of activities and a foodies dream with wineries and lunch spots, magic, we will be back for sure.

Well appointed quality apartments located right on the water's edge - step off the front lawn and you are on the sandy Onetangi Beach. We have a range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments plus 2 three bedroom penthouses for that ultimate in luxury living.

The Sands comprises apartments and villas of varying layout, outstanding sea views and all with excellent facilities. No apartment is more than a minutes stroll to the waters-edge.

The penthouse apartments are particularly suitable for wedding parties, comprising the perfect honeymoon accommodation.

Exclusive Conferences, in particular directors meetings are catered for using one penthouse for the meeting and another for dining.

The one and two bedroom apartments are very special for a romantic weekend. The elevated apartments are all serviced by lifts, are very private, and have views to take your breath away.

We have a variety of self contained apartments. As the apartments are not serviced daily the apartments are equipped with everything guests require to make their stay a comfortable one including:

* Full kitchen including dishwasher and fridge freezer
