I recently stayed at Rangiputa retreat with my parents who were over from the UK, it was quite a long drive up from Auckland but totally worth it. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived with homemade treats and a lovely clean cottage. We had made the trip up to go fishing on Steve's boat but the weather had turned really bad, nevertheless Steve kept us fully informed of the weather forecast and when we might be able to get out. Thankfully we managed to get out in the morning that we were leaving and had a great few hours on the water catching all sorts of fish. We were made to feel very welcome and had a really lovely time up in Rangiputa and I would love to go back again.
