Butterfly Creek

Located on Tom Pearce Drive just one minute from Auckland International Airport, Butterfly Creek is Auckland`s hottest new attraction hosting Australasia`s premier Tropical Butterfly House with over 700 free flying exotic butterflies, tropical fish, birds and lizards. Butterfly Creek offers a great family day out in Auckland. With things to do for both children and parents, everyone will have a relaxing fun day.

Butterfly Creek is situated in a marvellous picturesque setting and is a terrific venue for any function or party.

With a unique "flavour" including a range of classic attractions, Butterfly Creek offers great facilities and various space options catering to individual groups or capable of being treated as one interlinked series of spaces with a capacity of up to 1800.

Two separate kitchens and three separate bars cater comfortably
to most requirements.

Due to our location noise is not an issue at Butterfly Creek and
transport can be arranged for any booking.

Wetland Entertainment Stage & Concert Venue

Constructed over the wetland and approximately 75m2 in area, this
stage is ideal for your outdoor concert or summer party. The stage runs off a large field and is easily viewed form the nearby Butterfly
Creek decks and function rooms.

The grassed and fenced paddock is capable of holding groups of
well over 1000 persons and is a great music venue.

The area has been used on many occasions with marquees being
erected to host very successful parties and other events. Noise is not an issue.


Weddings

Celebrate your special day at one of the top Auckland wedding venues.
Butterfly Creeks Papillon Room is the perfect wedding venue holding up to 200 guests. The stunning design provides an open, spacious ambience and extensive glazing and wrap-around decks afford commanding views over the surrounding wetlands and landscape.

Get married under our wedding archway, have a photo shoot in the Butterfly House to add to your magical day, arrange to have a Butterfly release. Once your ceremony is complete it is just a short trip to Auckland Airport to start your honeymoon.

Seminars

Seminar / Boardroom

This first floor seminar meeting room is ideal for any corporate meeting requirement. Complete with its own small deck, the boardroom caters for smaller groups and meetings, holding approximately 20 People.

The Venues

Papillon Room

First impressions always count, and none more so than at the
Papillon Room. The stunning design provides an open, spacious
ambience that more than complements the warm, friendly welcome.

Extensive glazing and wrap-around decks afford commanding views
over the surrounding wetlands and landscape.

This unique venue is perfect for any function; be it a wedding, fashion
show, product launch, business seminar or any other celebration. The
Papillon Room caters for between 130 and 150 dining guest or 200
cocktail guests. The surrounding uncovered decks accommodate a
further 60 persons.

The Papillon Room can be transformed into a theatre style seminar
room for conferences with a drop down 2.4m projector screen and
sound system - ideal also for any TV screened, sports related party.

Papillon Cafe / Deck

Located adjacent to the Papillon Room, Papillon Cafe enjoys a unique, enviable setting, having excellent indoor and outdoor flow on to the surrounding decking and patio areas.

Papillon Cafe caters for up to 60 people and is suited to smaller functions or events a great venue for those breakfast and lunch meetings.

The adjacent deck - closed in with both roof and perimeter drop-screens - accommodates a further 80 persons.


Papillon Bar

This unique venue is ideal for conferences, seminars, weddings and events catering for up to 200. The stunning design provides an open, spacious ambience and enjoys expansive views to the surrounding landscape.

Includes kitchen and a fully licensed bar.
