Welcome to Rug Studio Ponsonby . We show an impressive selection of Rugs produced by the world's leading rug producers, who develop exclusive colours and styles especially for the New Zealand Rug Market.
Most of our rugs come in standard sizes of 120x170cm; 160x230cm; 200x290cm.
Our Rug Ranges are:
SHAG PILE RANGES - constructed from heat set Polypropylene which is very hard-wearing ideal in heavy traffic areas with the additional benefit of having no fluff or shedding, and Wool which offers a warm, luxurious setting and with regular vacuuming and shaking of these wool rugs will keep them in good order.
MODERN CONTEMPORARY RANGES - constructed in a choice of man made products or wool. These rugs bring fashionable designs and colour into you home or office. A real value for money investment.
TRADITIONAL RUG RANGE - constructed in a choice of materials man-made or wool. These rugs are made in traditional designs, some with 260,000 knots per m2 density giving fine detail. Their jewels colours and patterns will compliment any room in your house. We also have a range of hand-knotted master pieces.
FLATWEAVE - constructed in a heat set polypropylene which we have an outdoor range in a sisal like product durable enough to stand up to wet weather and UV creating a smart outdoor area. Our in door ranges are also made in a Sisal like product with a hand bordered edging, hard wearing and easily maintained, other ranges offer subtle patterns. Great for under the Dining Table or at the Bach. Our natural range is fabric bound Sisal, or Coir, Jute, Sea Grass and Bamboo. These rugs can come in 80x150cm size - Excellent in the kitchen, laundry or entry ways as well as our standard sizing mentioned.
KIDS RANGE - made in ultra plush Poly Acrylic giving them a soft-supple touch, Each rug makes a statement by bringing modern colour, texture and dimension to any kid's room it adorns. See the smile on your child's face when this beautiful rug livens up their bedroom decor.
DOORMATS - made in Rubber Grill and coir smarten up your entry way.
UNDERLAY - Non skid Underlay you can buy for both hard floors and carpet. Made out of thin, light and fluffy polyester fabric with a scientifically formulated, clean-lift, water-based adhesive. Teebaud actually grips the rug backing and the carpet or floor, firmly anchoring the rug in place. Cut to measurement, available in a variety of sizes.
