31st January 2009 I visited Dr. Theresa Leung at Smile Dental Glenfield branch to request an extraction after another dentist had recommended it, but I had taken a while to get used to the idea. Anyway, I was given another option: a complex filling with pins. This was done at what I thought was a very reasonable cost ($150) and has been very satisfactory. With luck it will give me several more years, maybe until stem cell replacements become readily available. So, God bless you Dr Theresa

6th July 2007 I visited Smile Dental Papakura branch in April 2006 for some filling work. Dr. Theresa Leung treated me. I paid over $800 for 2 fillings.
A few months after the fillings I could feel parts of the filling were loose, there was even one piece that fell out. I wasn't entirely sure and because there's the 1 year warranty I went back and saw Dr. Theresa. She examined the fillings and told me there was nothing she could see. Then she charged me $60 for that visit and prescribed some antibiotics to rid my problems.
By April 2007, all my fillings had fallen out and after a phone conversation to Smile Dental headquarter I learned that I need to pay the full amount to get my teeth done again.
I think charging patients for a short checkup within the 1 year warranty was appalling and fillings that only last for a year is downright burglary!
Shame on you Theresa Leung and Smile Dental!
