Datawest are a New Zealand IT company specialising in application hosting and network support. We have been operating since 1994 and serve small-to-medium businesses & organisations in a variety of markets.

For 13 years Datawest Networks has focused on providing IT services and solutions to small- and medium-sized businesses and organisations throughout New Zealand.

Datawest looks to build long-term relationships built on prudent growth and efficient management of clients' technology assets. We assign a primary consultant to each client to allow very personal service; every Datawest consultant is part of a small team to help them effectively manage their client's technology and relationships.

Datawest now has two branch locations in Palmerston North and Wellington to manage client relationships at an even more personal level.

The major factor in Datawest's high standard of customer service is focusing on the clients we can serve best.

Companies large and small generally face similar problems, vulnerabilities, and core computing needs; but depending on the size of the firm there may be vast differences in what solutions are effective, regardless of cost.

We focus on addressing the needs of small to medium businesses and continue to build upon our expertise within this demographic. Datawest uses device count (the cumulative number of servers, laptops, desktops) to define this demographic, and we have found that our most successful relationships are with firms which have between 10 and 200 devices.

Datawest's relationships begin with initial meetings to determine the client's needs and potential fit with Datawest's abilities. A technical analysis with deliverables is then presented to qualified businesses.
