Southern Stars is a Charitable Trust that is dedicated to providing a better life for special needs and disadvantaged children in New Zealand. Our aim is to raise funds for services, research and support for sick kids and families.
That is achieved in three ways ..
- By raising and distributing funds to children's charities.
- By providing fundraising resources for children's charities.
- By creating entertainment events for special needs and disadvantaged children.
As a result the Trust has become renown for ...
- Enabling many established children's charities to be the benefactors of the Trust's event programs.
- Staging professional pantomimes which have entertained over 50,000 special needs and disadvantaged children.
Since Southern Stars Charitable Trust was established, it has raised much needed funds for children's charities in New Zealand, and over 50,000 special needs and disadvantaged children have been entertained by Southern Stars Charitable Trust events.
The Trust is indebted to many people, supporters and organisations for this achievement. Our main forms of support are donations from the general public, corporate support and support of our many events we run every year.
Southern Stars Charitable Trust has dedicated itself to providing a better life for special needs and disadvantaged children in New Zealand by providing assistance through various charitable organisations.
Last year these charities included NZ Down Syndrome, The Burn Support Group Charitable Trust, Kidney Kids, Koru Care, Radio Lollipop and Ronald McDonald House Auckland.
