29th July 2009 Went to the Martinborough hotel and had lunch there. Excellent service and meal. Had my 9 month old son with me and they provided a high chair as well as a box of toys to play with.
Food was great and reasonably priced. Was gutted I didnt get to try the venison pie as ive heard good things about it. It was unavailable at the time.
Tried a cajun burger and fries. Was a top notch burger using a whole chicken breast! Great!! My parnter had a standard fish and chips - 3 pieces of fish with a good helping of fries and salad.
We took a day trip out to the sights around the area and was by chance we stopped off at the martinborough hotel. i am glad we did. The service was great and the food was good. I reccommend stopping here on your way through. We will be next time.
