13th April 2010 Wayne Thompson has been my wife’s and my lawyer for over 20 years. I commenced practice as a lawyer in 1982. My experience has been varied and wide. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer I studied, trained and worked as an engineer and in the area of patents, trademarks and copyrights.
In 1988, I set up my own law practice and commenced practice on my own account. I attended Law School at Auckland University. My qualifications include a NZCE (Civil), BA, LLB, Grad.Dip.App.Theol, LLM (1st class Hons). I have published various papers for the New Zealand Law Journal in the past.

My office is centrally located in the suburb of Mt Eden. This enables clients from all parts of Auckland and further afield to easily find me without being stressed by the traffic of the inner city. Parking is easy and the environment relaxed with many good cafe shops.

12th April 2010 Wayne has been our family lawyer for about 20 years. In that time he has acted in conveyancing, wills and family trust matters. I have recommended him to other friends and extended family members and have received nothing but good reports from them. Wayne is a lawyer with great personal acumen, integrity and ability and I do not hesitate in recommending him

12th April 2010 I retained the services of Wayne Thompson on the recommendation of an aunt whose lawyer he has been for several years and I have never regretted the decision. As well as offering moral support and encouragement his sound advice resulted in a solution to my difficult separation problems including custody of a child. He is approachable, conscientious and thorough.

25th March 2010 I am so happy to have Wayne as my lawyer. As soon as I walk into his office I feel soothed by his calm and gracious presence. It is very reassuring to know that a man of such integrity, specialist knowledge and wisdom has my best interests at heart. A kind and patient man, he explains things to me in a way that is easy to understand. His office is very convenient, with plenty of parking, in a very pleasant part of town. 24th March 2010 I have been going to Wayne for eighteen years for legal advice including conveyancing, family trusts and contracts, the latter a true minefield where specialist help has been critical. My son and daughter-in-law have also made use of his services. Wayne is very knowlegeable and excellent at explaining difficult material using diagrams. He is flexible regarding meeting times as well, helpful to a full-time worker like myself who has to travel right across the city to Mt Eden.His Dickensian office is a joy to visit with old world charm and a touch of early colonial in pictures on the walls. 19th March 2010 Wayne is great. He is very approachable and low key. He insisted on explaining the details of my conveyancing transaction to me even though it was something I found difficult to follow. So he has a high standard of ethics and integrity. Wayne reported to me in great detail after the transaction.
Waynes office is not at all imposing or offputting. it is user -friendly. One does not feel intimidated at all. He is friendly too and can chat about anything. And has lots of local knowledge.The supermarket and cafes / restaurants are handy so its well located. Hop up the stairs and its first on the right.
