Very impressed with the service. We had a lovely evening, thank you very much! The food was brilliant, and even though it was late (due to understandable human error!) they more than made up for it, including a special birthday dessert for my father. Many thanks to all the staff at Lone Star Takapuna!

Very happy with the food. Had to ask for a takeaway as my chicken burrito portion was so big (but really yummy). Have been to Lone Star twice, also ordering their nachos, and both times have left happy and very full :)

Average food, service fine if over friendly, menu heavy on the protein. Was charged for another table's food after being presented with the correct bill. Check your receipt! Won't be returning.

Went here for the last time a couple months ago. Service was shockingly bad. Had to wait AGES for meals. Steak in the fajitas was chewy and gristly. Really unimpressed, this used to be one of my favourites (large meals, good choice, great value) but now we won't be going back to this branch again.

Went to lonestar for the first time last week (shocking - I know), and it did not dissapoint. I had the ribs, which were amazing, marinaded perfectly with the ribs having a good portion of meat on them, needless to say i couldnt finish my email and had the rest for lunch the next day, still as good as the night before. The prices at lonestar are fair, especially for the portion sizes and the foos out of this world. Would definetly reccomend for any evening meal.

Went on Friday night at 6pm, Was very dark. Couldnt pull chair out without bumping person in table beside us, we where very squashed. Had ribs which where lovely, Had steak for main very plan, desert was lovely had a chocolate pud very nice. Dont know if I would go again for two person dinner, think its better for larger groups of people.

Very American! Great atmosphere, huge meals and friendly service. The fresh break and garlic butter for starters is amazing! A must try. Make sure you are starving before going to this place!

Been here once and will go back again next time I'm on the Shore (the shore is a bit of a mystery to this South Auckland boy). Can't fault the food or service here. The waiters/waitresses are always friendly and chatty which really adds to the feel of the place.

Lone Star is just legendary especially when you have little ones. The home-baked bread served hot right out of oven is a must-have as well as spare-ribs. A great, fun place to eat for whole family.

Atmosphere is superb...Food is great...and even better, food portion is HUGE for those that enjoy eating a good wholesome meal...Try the pork ribs...YUMMY! =)

I first went to Lone Star in Tauranga years ago and when it come to Nth Shore I was delighted. Great meal with family. The pork is amazing, in taste and value for money. Kids are catered for with food, and entertainment. Tracy D
