23rd January 2011 If I could rate this in negatives I would give it a -100! Got there on Thursday before BDO. Noone there. Cards left with dairy owners next door. We had booked two rooms. One room had no key cards. Ok we thought we will head into town and just ring after hours number to fix key card issue. No answer, voicemail. 2 hours of ringing and still no answer so we head back to Scholar and get back inside and the lift is broken. Only way up is to climb fire exit stairs up to doors you cannot open from outside. Noone is on our floor so we cant get inside to get our bags. About 20 other people turn up in same predicament. Still no answer from after hours number. We ring police and they finally track someone down to help us 5 hours later. At 12.40am we finally get to our room and our friends get their key card to go up to their room. The next morning we decide screw this we are outta there and go to check out. Still noone there so we just leave and tell the dairy guy we are not paying. Oh did I mention the couple that turned up, got into their room and the place wasn't even clean, beds unmade and dirty linen.
Yeah if you want the worst experience ever go to Scholar Hotel Apartments!
