This morning I decided to go to Toy World in Porirua. I have shopped here several times and am always greeted with a smile and the staff even carry my purchased goods to my car which is brilliant. This morning unfortunately I received cold stares from both staff and furthermore one staff member carried the goods I was looking at pruchasing to the counter and dropped it on the floor as if she couldn't be bothered. I replied that she should not drop the goods on the floor like that especially if I was looking at purchasing it. Her response was that it was made out of plastic! And her excuse for the glum face and attitude was because it was a Monday. The service or lack of that I received from both co-owners female/male were unacceptable. As stated above most times I have come into Toy World the staff are great. Unfortunately it is the two co-owners who let the entire business down. If you have no passion for providing superior customer service maybe it is time you both found a new career.
