I had 2 films dropped of this morning, and about 10 mins later realised that the order was to be printed when I only wanted them to be put on Cd. So I called an appologised for changing my mind. No hassel really, as I'm sure nothing was in the process already. I spoke to the lady and she was VERY rude. Answering my questions sharply and before I had finished my sentence she interuppted said in a fake voice 'Yes, thank you and goodbye' and hung up. VERY unimpressed and do not want to work with her again!

I don't know about Renren, perhaps he/she went to a different shop by mistake. I have never found the staff at Photogenics anything but interested and helpful in fulfilling my photo needs, and at a very competitive price. I can only endorse what Mark5 and fairysarah have said. My original recommendation to use them was from a professional photog who demands very high standards.

I have found Photogenics to be excellent with their services. They have always taken time to get the right adjustments for each image and I recommend them to many of my friends and colleagues. I was originally pointed in their direction several years ago by a Professional Photographer for print film developing and I now use them for digital development for anything I want enlarged or high quality. Due to the value of service I get for my money I don't go anywhere else.

Being a photographer, I have used lots of different photo labs and absolutely none compare to Photogenics. I am very picky and find that most places just 'press print' when given digital photos on a disk. I know that each and every image is colour adjusted and improved, and somehow each and every photograph are such good quality. I'm always looking out for prints that show that the photo is digital and Photogenics is the only place I have found that prints a digital photo of the same quality as film - you can't tell the difference. The service is always spot on and I don't mind the odd longer turn around when I know they take the time to deliver quality.

Dealing with this shop was an unpleasant experience. My order was supposed to be ready at 11am, when I went there at 2pm and politely told the staff at the counter my name and what had ordered, I got a cold stare and a very blunt reply, "Not here yet." And then silence. I explained that I was told to collect it at 11am, she simply said it had not been delivered back to the shop yet, and didnt want to deal with me because she was not the one who i spoke to when i placed my order. I can understand that maybe even herself didn't know what was happening with my order, but she was talking to me as if it was my fault that I arrived earlier than my print, when in fact it is them who were behind schedule. She was blind to the fact that it will be a hassle for me to make another trip to their shop to collect it, and the need to apologise. The quality of the print was not that great either and I had to get it redone.
