• Donna is a romantic at heart and her favourite colurs to paint in are different shades of browns, golds,red,black and metallics. Most of donnas paintings will have some form of Mixed Media. She loves experiments with all sorts of different types of Texture such as Tissue Rope which gives her work a unique 2d Dimension, she also favours using Ribbons, Papers, Threads , Gold Leaf and Resin. Donna's paintings take several days or weeks to complete as they are made up of several layers of Texture, Colour and in some cases Resin. A lot of Donna's inspiration comes from just everyday moments of life... like a weekend away, a memory, or just driving down the road and seeing or hearing something. Donna loves the outdoors, nature in all its Beauty, be it Mountains , Rivers, Flowers, Trees, Butterflies. These things tend to end up flowing somewhere throught her paintings.
• Donnas work can be found throughout Australia, Japan and also in Private Collections, Galleries and Cafe's throughtout New Zealand. Some of Donna's work has been chosen and used for an Advertising Catalogue due out later this year. Donnas work is very different and totally unique to her, she is a member of Artist Alliance, and is very happy to be contacted for Commission Work. She also Welcomes any Feedback you may have .
