We are situated on the edge of Auckland's sparkling Waitemata Harbour in the historic Auckland Ferry Building right in the City. With our expansive balcony you can sit over the water and watch the busy harbour traffic.
We offer Pacific Rim Cuisine specialising in the best of New Zealand's seafood including live crayfish from the tank together with innovative pasta, chicken and meat dishes and exquisite desserts. Our wine list includes one of the most comprehensive selections of New Zealand wines in the country.
From the romantic table for two to groups of up to 100, Harbourside is renowned for its response to individual needs.
Function Facilities
Harbourside is a large restaurant, seating 200 inside and 140 on our extensive balcony overlooking the Harbour.
We now have a private dining room, "The Aqua Room" which has a seating capacity of 40- 45 people or 120 for finger food functions and includes a private area on the balcony.
Sophie LaRoche, our Functions Manager, is more than happy to help you with any special requests. Excellent food and wine, breathtaking seaviews and highly trained and motivated staff will make your next function a major success.

I am still having dreams about their crayfish deal that they do annually. Can't wait for the next one. The mornay is to die for. The service is excellent. My one criticism would be for the wines that they had selected to compliment the crayfish which tasted awful. To the restaurants credit though, they exchanged them for us without hesitation. Thanks Harbourside! Will see you again soon without a doubt!
