About Us
The Pink Bin Company is a family business owned and operated by Andy and Sue Stuart. After operating a small firewood and rubbish removal business for a short time they formed Pink Bins in 1998.
We provide old fashioned service and reliability.
Originally the company started with one truck and ten bins, Andy drove the truck while Sue attended the phones. Throughout the years the Pink Bin Company has grown and is now based in Manukau where both the recycling plant and engineering shop are set up. The fleet of trucks has grown to nine with over 300 bins.
Andy and Sue pride themselves on providing a service that is second to none and are always open to any assistance or advice that you may require.
Community Support
The Pink Bin Company has supported various community projects in the past including:
* Special Children's Christmas Party
* Westpac Rescue Helicopter
* Eventing Auckland Show Jumping
* Pink Dragon's - Breast Cancer Dragon Boating Team
In 2006 the Pink Bin Company acquired a factory in Manukau to start a recycling plant. Most bins are brought back to the plant and tipped on the floor and then sorted by three full time floor staff. All recyclables are pulled out and then transported to various recycling centres. Some of the materials that we recycle include:

We are committed to recycling wherever possible and are continually looking for alternatives to landfill sites.

We have our own inhouse engineering department and can manufacture custom bins to suit your requirements.
