Throughout the years the Pink Bin Company has grown and is now based in Manukau where both the recycling plant and engineering shop are set up. The fleet of trucks has grown to nine with over 400 bins.

In 2006 the Pink Bin Company acquired a factory in Manukau to start a recycling plant.

Most bins are brought back to the plant and tipped on the floor and then sorted by six full time floor staff. All recyclables are pulled out and then transported to various recycling centres.
