This cafe and bar is top notch. Went to Nelson for a "girls weekend" and had a great dining experience here. The portion size was generous and the food is fabulous. Staff were most welcoming and their attention to detail definitely gave this cafe their point of difference. Staff were hardworking and personable - we made a point of returning for lunch again the following day. Definitely recommend.

I have had many great meals over the years at Lambrettas, and went there again today with my partner for lunch. He ordered the caeser salad, I got a margherita pizza. My pizza arrived at least 5 minutes after his salad, and his salad was completely bland, no taste at all. The pizza was ok-ish, until I bit down on a broken piece of plastic in the middle of it. I went up and told the wait staff, she didn't believe me at first, was quite rude about it. I got given a new pizza to take away. Also, the table next to me got a charred black toasted sandwich, and they got the same response when they asked for a new one. When I went to collect the new pizza and leave, someone behind the bar said 'sorry mam, but it could have been a lot worse, we were busy'. I have been in there when it is packed out and got great service, the room was not even half full. I don't know why they have changed, but they really really have gotten alot worse.

This is a fantastic place to go meet up with friends or go with family. The staff are happy and friendly, the food is fantastic, and it reminds me of cafe's I have been to in the USA and Australia, great atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Great for any time of day.

Good value for money. Meals are tasty and well flavoured. Staff are willing & helpful and hard working. Good atmosphere, always busy at peak times which gives the place a good hub, but the only drawback of that is the design/layout of the building which means when they're really busy it's hard to queue & manoeuvre around the food/ordering area. Really great place which we always go to when in town.

These guys are great value for money, there food is always great and there rissoto is amazing, i higly reccomend them and you must try there lemon and passionfruit smothey its strang but awsome
