Tempo Dance Studio on the North Shore is full of fun, energy and hard work. Catering to all levels of ability, we have around twenty dance classes every week covering Ballroom dancing, Latin American dances, New Vogue, Rock N Roll and our most recent addition, the popular new Latin-inspired dance fitness class ZUMBA!!!

Dancing Classes

Our students regularly report that they just love the range of dance classes at Tempo Dance. With dance classes suitable for complete beginner through to high level competitive dancers, and all ages from 6 years through to 86 years of age, Tempo Dance Studio has something for everyone.

Dancing Lesson Prices

To help you get started we have a selection of payment options for both classes and private lessons.

• Pay for your class casually each time you come along
• Purchase a ten class concession card at a reduced rate
• Purchase a private lesson concession card which gives you 10 hours of private lessons, PLUS ONE FREE HOUR.

Are You A Competitive Dancer?

If you are already an experienced competitive dancer or if you are wishing to step onto the competitive floor for the first time, then Tempo Dance Studio is the place for you. All the coaches at Tempo are past Champions so the level of coaching at Tempo is probably the best available anywhere in the country. Tempo dancers are regularly found on the podium at competitions around New Zealand and overseas and this should come as no surprise given the quality and skills of the team of coaches that work within the studio.

Dance Demonstrations

We also have a team of dancers that are regularly available for demonstrations and displays. If you have an event that requires a display of stunning ability, then call us and we would love to supply some of our high level dancers to perform for you.

Dance Supplies

Tempo Dance Studio also has a Dance Shop (Dance Mad) on site that stocks a full range of dance accessories from shoes, to tanning products, to outfits suitable for the competition floor.
