John and Pat Ledbury - Wrington, Somerset, England.
This was the perfect start to a memorable holiday in New Zealand. We would certainly stay again. Super hosts with a great family and friends. To arrange an 'armed robbery' up the road was the best excuse to miss one of your famous breakfasts I have heard of. We hope all your tea-pots now have holes in the lids! Seriously we laughed so much and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank yo so much.

With stunning 200 degree harbour views, close to restaurants, cafes, shopping and museums our bed and breakfast accommodation in our warm and delightful villa is a fantastic way to spend your vacation time in Auckland.

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Auckland City has three rooms you can choose from:

Complete with a certified skipper ready to go you can explore Great Barrier Island or Rangitoto, Browns, Moutuihe, Motuatapu Islands. Talk to Brian or Jay about your boating trip around Auckland.

Elam and Kay Scull - Seguin, texas USA We had a wonderful 4 days at the Number One House. As we walked in the front door, we just said WOW!! The views from every room are just incredible as you look across the blue water to Auckland and the sail boats passing by. We loved being away from the hustle bustle of Auckland, but able to take a short ferry ride if we wanted to visit the city. The ferry is just one minute walk from the B&B. We stayed in the Green room and it was very romantic with wonderful views and the eggs benedict were so good that we had them every morning. Our hosts Brian and Jay were great and they were always ready to suggest fun things to do in the area. They were full of funny stories and jokes and we feel like we have made life long friends. We had such a great time that we know we will go back. I would recommed the Number One House to anyone planning to visit Auckland.

Heather Darden - Austin, Texas United States WOW, WOW, WOW!!! My husband and I got to sail and stay overnight on Whiskers. She is gorgeous! Jay's cooking is delicious, and the wine selections Brian and Jay made were great. They listened to my needs as a vegetarian, and I never had to question whether I could eat what was put before me. All the advice they gave about Auckland was right on. They went out of their way to make our stay romantic, memorable, and wonderful. submitted with permission from guest book
