Karl is great, have had all six of my artworks done with him now! You feel comfortable and relaxed. Important when someone is inflicting discomfort! Have recommended him to others, and there now using him!

People are full of shit on here, there is no association bewteen this place listed, and that of Lifestyle Tattoo. And the above comment regarding OUR studio, Lifestyle Tattoo, one of the cleanest, friendliest studios on the Shore, is clearly a hate campaign by someone seeking attention, we have a few of those lovely people in our lives unfortunately haha. At the end of the day this is our business, and we take pride in what we do. We do not have to deal with rude disrespectful people, or people who completely waste our time and effort. I challenge YOU, the person reading these comments, to come in and check us out for yourselves. Make your own opinion, instead of that of a keyboard warrior haha We are clean, friendly, health-licensed, and fucking good at what we do. We have an amazing reputation, and the shit loads of good word of mouth we get more than makes up for the odd stupid petty comment by people with nothing better to do than obsess over us haha - come check us out for yourselves people....best tattoos and piercings on the Shore!

Went in on the 19/12/2009 . Very friendly fella Arapeta and very passoinate about his Mahi. I hadnt a clue what i wanted but while talking to Arapeta he started scetching on my shoulder and we had what i wanted.One quick look in the mirror and it was Ta Moko time. While Arapeta was setting up i noticed that he is very thorough .Very neat,tidy and sterile [clean],also new needles and plenty of sterile gloves. Before starting Arapeta did Karakia and went about what he loves and does passionately. [Ta Moko] 31/2 hours later my Ta Moko was finished and i was a very very happy man.Arapeta explained to me how to look after my Ta Moko for the next few days and i shook his hand and thanked him and left. This is my 1st Ta Moko and im grateful for 2 things 1 . I got my Ta Moko and 2. I went to Arapeta. Who ever reads this i just wana say that you will not be disappointed if Arapeta gets to work on you,as i said he is friendly, passionate and very tidy. Go in and meet him.Thanks Arapeta

I have 3 of my 4 tattoos from Mev O'Connor. My first was in 1985 and my last one in September of 2011 . so i have the thick lined art of the way it was & the art line of the future, The machines sure have changed. I've loved my visits over so many years with Mev hes always remembered my name when i walk in. He is a man of heart and love of family & horses. Mev's 1 of NZ known jockeys in his yrs . I've seen the scrap books of his passions,Awesome.... he is more than just your tattooist for the day. Hes Mev O'Connor. So if you read this!!!! go on in & get some colour art from 1 of the most will known tattooist in NZ,.... love ya Mev..... Nicky

Brendan is the most wicked tattooist I have had the pleasure of knowing. I have watched him create many works of art and had the privilage of receiving an awesome tat from him as well the compliments I get are amazing, the detail and colours are are outstanding. I will be back to get many more from him in the years to come. Big ups to you guys and see you soon. Nerina

Great atmosphere, you don't realise you're getting a tattoo cos of all the laughing and chatting going on. Ive had several piercings and tattoos from Willy wouldn't go any where else. Nga mihi nui kia koe!!!
