I would not recommend this company. I was moving from London, UK back to New Zealand. I only had one backpack worth of stuff to ship back but thought it would be cheaper to have it shipped than pay the extra weight to take it on the plane with me... I was wrong. They initially quoted me the equivalent of NZ$240 to have it shipped door-to-door London to Rotorua. They picked it up from my door on the 10th of September, 2010. The ship was due to arrive in NZ on the 8th November 2010. After hearing nothing from Anglo Pacific for almost a month after the ships arrival I finally emailed them to ask what was happening with my bag. A few days later I received a letter in the mail to say my bag had been chosen to undergo a MAF inspection and attached was an invoice for another NZ$206 which I had to pay before they could deliver my bag. I was furious. And it seemed a bit of a coincidence that it happened only after I emailed them to ask about my bag. Anyway, I reluctantly payed the NZ$206 mid December and it is now a day before Christmas and I still haven't heard anything about when I will be receiving my luggage. If you decide to go with Anglo Pacific, make sure you triple check the fine print. And be prepared to have to pay extra on top of their original quote (in my case I ended up paying double) and have to wait a very long time for your belongings. In the end it would have been a lot cheaper, easier and quicker just to take the extra bag with me on the plane and pay the extra weight.
