We decided very last minute to make a NZ trip. Walkabout had still a motorhome available with long enough beds and standing height at a reasonable price. Its customer service was very prompt in reacting to our various questions and handling the payment. You feel that the Walkabout company is of manageable dimensions, where customers are not just numbers. The van we received was up to all promises made, excellent, everything worked and not a single issue. Adequate time was taken for the delivery at the Auckland hotel, and clear explanations given on all aspects of the motorhome. Also, some valuable tips on excellent camping sites. We caused some (parking) damage to the van, for which the repair costs were shortly after our return, realistically evaluated, and processed by deduction from the bond. The return of the van in Christchurch was very well handled. When we realized the next day that we had left some valuables in the van's safe, they were so nice to come by at the hotel to return them. All in all, a very good service, in all aspects, and next time we surely will book through Walkabout again ! Warmly recommended !

Quim Silva, the owner of Coolcars in Auckland city, just off gt North Rd, is so helpful and considers the client needs and situation. He gives a fair service and takes personal care to do a quality job. He fitted an air-conditioning to my car, which involved making some parts in his workshop as my car is a classic and does not come with a ready made air-conditioning unit. I am thrilled with the result.
