Our group visited Gilead Alpacas last summer and had a wonderful time. The ladies had cria (babies) in a pen for us to pat, told us anything and everything about the alpacas and their care and had young males haltered up for our group to take for walks (which was the highlight). We saw raw fleeces, learnt about shearing and went away feeling it was such an informative visit, taking with us a postcard of one of their babies. We'd love to go back.
